if you are using the feed to post, make sure to click the option not to have search enabled, as here

Thank you. For some reason, that is not showing up in my setting options. We are using RSS Multi Importer version 2.68. Does this make a difference?

Thanks. I had that checked and the items still showed up in search on our site. If you search career on our site it comes up with links that are not there.

We don’t use the plugin to do auto posts, just for listing of feeds with relevant news. Does this majke a difference?

if you’re using the shortcode, you’re not storing the RSS feed item anywhere on your site – but if you have a search crawler (from Google or your own site), the crawler will think the content resides on your site – which it does not.

I am still having issues with this. We use the search option that comes with the theme and are still having links that go to 404’s for RSS posts. We have the setting for autoposts inactive.

Do you have a solution for us. We desperately need your help.
