RSS main page – add author

Hello, I have my site created and working. I know that there are 2 types of RSS feed & am utilizing both. 1 is the rss feed for the site, showing new posts and such. The other is for authors.

On my main rss feed (/?feed=rss) it currently shows only the post title & the post. I would like to add the author as well. I have Google searched this and have not been successful. Does anyone have a suggestion?
