RSS showing old Title-Has a problem

Hello all.
I am totally new to wordpress.
I am starting my 1st ever blog and have a friend who has helped me set up everything so far.
I wanted to configure an rss feed.
I’ve used the feedburner plugin FeedBurner FeedSmith 2.3.1

I have had a problem though,, when I subscribed to feedburner I used a poor title that was totally wrong, I actually wasn’t too sure what I was doing.

Anyway, I posted for a solution on the google groups and I had a very helpful reply from a “community Expert”
Anyway, after I managed to alter the title thanks to his suggestion, I still have a configuration error.
I asked on the group about this and they have said to contact wordpress support as it is an error in wordpress.

Please,I need Help! ??

I’m new to feedburner and blogging etc.
I’m in the process of launching my 1st ever blog.
It’s a wordpress blog.(v2.5.1)
The URI is;
https://daytradinglife.com
A friend has helped me set it up so far, IE plugins, template etc.

I have several rss buttons on the website.
I installed the wordpress plugin for feedburner;
FeedBurner FeedSmith 2.3.1

I’ve set up a std feed and a comment feed.

My problem?
Well, when I 1st set up feedburner, I gave it a bad title description,
I didn’t know what I was doing. When all was set up and I clicked to
view my feed something had gone wrong I think with this.
The title/description looks/reads like this;

It looked awful. I’m not sure what had gone wrong. I’ve tried deleting
the feeds and

still this title wouldn’t go away. I’ve now deleted my account with
original username and

password.

I have now set up a new account, with new username and password, and
now set the
details as follows;

Here are the details;
Feed Title: DayTradingLife.com

Feed Address: https://feeds.feedburner.com/daytradinglife

After this I have pinged the site, via the feedburner troubleshoot
link
and I’ve readjusted the wordpress plugin feed details;;

which now read;
Once you have created your FeedBurner feed, enter its address into the
field below

https://feeds.feedburner.com/daytradinglife

Optional: If you also want to handle your WordPress comments feed
using FeedBurner,

create a FeedBurner comments feed and then enter its address below:

I’ve now checked my site again and click on any of the subscribe feeds
and it still shows
this bad title!

What have I done wrong?
As a note, when I deleted my feedburner account, and reset it the next
day (with new
username and password),, when I was going through the reg process,, it
still had in the
Title area the above bad title????
It was as if feedburner hasn’t deleted it!
I obviously deleted it and entered just “DayTradingLife”,, etc so this
title
surely shouldn’t be active.

Is the problem with feedburner website, or something I’ve done?
I hope someone can advise me as to what to do

Hello Dowboy,

The wrong title comes from the original feed. If you don’t like that
title, you may change the title of your FeedBurner feed via the “Title/
Description Burner” under Optimized.

Many thanks Franklin Tse, seems to have done the trick. I just didn’t
see this setting! Many thanks.
I do have 1 more question though if you can help.:-)

When I now click on a rss link on my blog (https://daytradinglife.com),
it shows the rss feed (IE if I am on my homepage at click the circular
rss button in the header.
It takes me to the feed
https://feeds.feedburner.com/daytradinglife

But,,, If I click on the title of the feed, I get an error?
https://feeds.feedburner.com/My%20person%20Daytrading%20blog%20coverin…

It says a http 400 error,, and I notice in the URI it still has this
old horrible description between the %20
Do you have any ideas Flanklin Tse?
I really haven’t a clue what is now wrong.
Is it in the feedburner settings?
Web host? (As I also see these words “Apache Tomcat/5.0.28”
My friend has sorted out the hosting for me, maybe there is something
that needs to be altered??
Or wordpress?

I hope you can advise.
