RSS still not working

  • Hi all,

    My RSS feed isn’t working.

    With the plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/fix-rss-feed/ I removed the first blank line in my XML feed…

    Because this source I wans’t able to use completely, because I didn’t understand everything: https://feed2.w3.org/docs/error/WPBlankLine.html

    However, one problem solved, two still remains.

    This feed does not validate.

line 34, column 1: Undefined item element: p (2 occurrences) [help]

    PS I already disabled all plugins, didn’t help.

    Does the same thing occur with all plugins deactivated and one of the default WordPress themes, such as Twenty Eleven/ Twelve?

	The Ruzzle chatt hasn’t been operating very well lately. Fortunately, ...

    The strange thing is, if I change RSS to full text my feed does validate, but that’s not want I want, I want the summarized version.

    Hope you can point me in the right direction.

    I now know why you asked it, when you click the link you see a complete xml document where indeed I previous had errors…

    However, I didn’t check it that way because if you type in the URL at feedvalidator.org is still not validated…

    I’m going to check if Mailchimp recognize the feed.

    Mailchimp reconize the URL (the URL you also mentioned), so, with all plugins deactivated, and the Twenty Twelve theme, it does work (although feedvalidator says not). I’m going to start testing again with activating everything and see what causes the problem.

    Ok, the theme and video seo plugin from yoast don’t work well together for the summarized feed. The full feed does work.
