RSS to JavaScript for My Main Web Site
-
I’ve made a spot on the main page of my web site to show the current posting from my blog. The JavaScript code was generated by what I’ve now discovered is a very popular web-based applet that seems to be posted on hundreds of web site. (Cut-n-Paste RSS-to-JavaScript)
The issue is with the display of non-alpha characters. I subscribe to many services to see what my feed looks like and have never encountered an issue with them properly rendering quotes, apostrophes or even a bullet as part of the posting title…except with these scripts. I’ve searched dozens and dozens and can’t seem to find one that renders non-alpha characters correctly. (Perhaps I need to shed a few coins to buy the proper tool?)
Anyone that could point me in the right direction would be appreciated more than ice tea in the Sahara. ?? Thanks!
