• The RSS widget in 2.5 (maybe earlier versions as well?) has a minor formatting issue. When you choose to display date by checking the box in the widget config, it is displayed on my blog with date jammed right against the feed item titles with not even a space. Small aesthetic thing, but would be nice to have a gap in there.

  • I don’t know if you figured it out but you format that with the style .rss-date in your stylesheet.

I’m having the same problem the rss-date style is being applied to a span, and padding or margin to move it over a little doesn’t seem to be working. The space needs to be added in the code.

Fixed it, take a look in wp-includes/widgets.php and search for “rss-date”

On my site the formatting looks weird for the title on the sidebar widget. On the first line is the rss icon and the feed title is on the second line. Why is this? I want to have it on one line….icon and title on one line.
