I have 2 problems with RSS:

    1. Although I have full feed selected, my feed continues to be truncated.
    2. I keep receiving this message-

Feed items do not have dates.

I tried changing the date format to “r” (Sun, 13 Jun 2010 11:29:44 +0000)after reading an article about this problem, but it hasn’t helped.

    Thank you

Can you share a link to the blog and the feed? It might help us investigate.

You’ll have to disable the redirect to Feedburner. We need to inspect the source feed.

    Will that interrupt subscription service?

It’s been so long since I set it up, how do I disable it?

Thank you so much for your help. This issue is affecting a number of things:
    1. inability to link to tumblr and hootsuite (they say that the feed items don’t have dates)
    2. my overall ranking

Plus, I wonder how many subscribers I’ve lost because of it.

Never mind, I think I was not typing in the correct URL (shouldn’t have been on here that late).

    Your source feed is:

    https://astrofix.net/feed/

Currently, it’s perfectly valid, so that’s a good sign. And, it has dates, which is also a good sign.

However, only one of the articles appears to be truncated. If you set an excerpt for that article when writing the post, then that’s what will be displayed in the feed. If that’s not the case, you may have a plugin that’s interfering. Try deactivating all plugins, then check your source feed again. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

Since your source feed looks fine, and it’s perfectly valid, I’m going to suggest that the other problems are Feedburner-related.

I have the homepage feed set to “excerpt” through my Wootheme. But, I asked Woothemes about this and they said that selecting to have excerpts on my home page should not affect the feed if I select “full posts” in the WP dashboard. I’m going to ask them again.

I’m glad to know the dates are showing up- I can see them.
