RSS won't validate

  • I’ve been trying to validate my RSS feed but it won’t because of errors I do not understand and cannot find the code to rectify them – as they are pointed out to me? I trashed one post and removed areas of another, which made no difference?

    This feed does not validate.

    line 368, column 4: XML parsing error: <unknown>:368:4: not well-formed (invalid token) [help]

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
