    Hi @rizshahnawaz,

I’m sorry to hear it isn’t working for you.

Can you confirm if Event Rocket shows as activated on the plugins admin screen – and are there any notices at the top of that page that relate to Event Rocket?

    Thanks Barry:
Yes it is activated on all my sites and there is no notification.
    Here are my sites:

    MedicalEvents.com
    IndiaSeattle.com
    SeattlePakistanis.org
    SeattleSikhs.com

I wonder if some plugin is causing that

    Strange.

It’s definitely possible that another plugin or even your theme is interfering.

Are you in a position to (temporarily) deactivate everything but Event Rocket and The Events Calendar and see if it works then?

I did try to deactivate them and use another but could not see the menu. I have sent a message to Theme-fusion, the Avada theme developers. Lets see how they respond. Barry I did talk to you once before. This is Shah from Seattle WA.

    I recall, Shah ??

I have sent a message to Theme-fusion, the Avada theme developers. Lets see how they respond.

For sure. Also, regardless of how that proceeds, temporarily switching your theme to a default one is well worth trying: themes can be a source of conflicts just like plugins can.

Though I can’t recall if Avada is amongst them, I do know there are a handful of fairly popular themes that actively modify the admin environment in respect of event settings and the event editor – which can occasionally be at the root of problems like this one.

I realize switching theme etc can be a pain on a live site, so keeping a test site (which can be as simple as a copy of WordPress installed in a subdirectory) can save a lot of hassle when testing out things like this ??

    Barry:

I just noticed something strange. A couple of days back a friend of mine posted an event on indiaseattle.com.He called to look and Edit. I noticed that RSVP section was there, when I logged in with my Admin account.

I have no explanation for that. Can you visit https://medicalevents.com, register and check if you see RSVP section.

I will take your advice and host a staging site.

    Shah –

Are we both talking about the event editor here?

Did your friend have an admin account if so, or do you mean you were logged in and were able to see the RSVP section in the event editor? What do you see if you create a new admin account for yourself and log in with that?

    Thread Starter rizshahnawaz

    (@rizshahnawaz)

Actually that was on https://indiaseattle.com which uses the same. Np he did not have an admin. Since we use community events add on, he simple clicked on submit event, register and follow the process of adding an event.

I will try to create a new admin account and see but RSVP should be available to anyone submitting event. That’s why I requested you to
register and add attest event. This will tell you all.

    I truly appreciate your help

OK – I think part of the problem was I didn’t realize you were referring to Community Events and the frontend editor/submission form – but I think I understand now that that is where you wish to see it?

    Thread Starter rizshahnawaz

    (@rizshahnawaz)

    Barry: I just learnt
When someone else posts a community event with his or her login, they don’t see RSVP section / option.

When I login in as an Admin and click on Edit Event (that is posted by someone else). I can see the RSVP option.

So, I think your plugin section is not visible/available to a member who is not logged in as an admin but only as a user. Can you do anything about it?

If possible please visit MedicalEvents.com and try to login as a user and add an event.

I know it may be to much top ask but will appreciate if it can be fixed.

Hmm, I’ll need to think about what makes the most sense here. Honestly, support for Community Events wasn’t something I considered when creating this.

It would be possible to link the two up right now, as a further customization, and that may make more sense that rolling such a change into Event Rocket itself.
