Thanks for all of those examples! Okay, so due to the RTL orientation, the price is showing up on the side that doesn’t match the slider’s direction.

We haven’t developed the YITH WooCommerce Product Slider. Your best option would be to reach out directly to YITH, so they can modify their plugin to handle this correctly.

However, I checked to see if the same behavior is present in the WooCommerce core Filter Products By Price widget.

Here’s the widget using a LTR language:

And here it is using a RTL language:

So the prices have been flipped around, but the slider controls still follow LTR conventions. This looks to be the same behavior you highlighted in the YITh plugin. Is it correct? If not, what needs to change to make this correct for RTL languages? I’d like to know so we can pass this on to the developers.

I know that the range slider and it’s related price which could be the minimum or maximum should be on the same side like LTR.

In RTL like my language which is Persian, we start writing the price from left to right.
So the minimum price goes on the left and maximum price goes on the right.
So the range slider should be compatible with this position.

That is interesting as it is the same way to do that in English when writing left to right. We have the left price on the left, as shown in Hannah’s first screenshot.

If the lower price should be on the left in Persian, we’d need to look at how the translation is handled and open an enhancement there. Do you use the core translation files?

I am using the default Persian Translation of the WordPress and Woocommerce.
But in this case as you see the bug, minimum and maximum prices are not match with the slider!

I did some web searching around and from what I have found it’s suggesting that range sliders like this price slider should have everything RTL.

You can see some RTL range slider examples here:

If you have any documentation or standards documents about price sliders in RTL, please let us know!

If we can’t find anything to support doing LTR for price sliders on RTL languages, what I’ll do is track this down as a bug so that we make sure both the slider and the text are going from RTL.

I tested the latest version of Woocommerce.
The range slider still has the problem.

All I say is that in all languages like English (LTR) and Persian (RTL) and Arabic (RTL) we write the numbers from left to right.
So the minimum number is on the left like zero or the minimum price in range slider and on the right we have the maximum price in range slider.

The range slider is fine now, but the price above that needs to have a small change.
The minimum price as a text which is the value of the price should be on the left and the maximum price should be on the right.
