  • Hi there, thanks for the heads-up. I’ll have our developers take a look at getting this fixed in the next update and we’ll keep you posted.

    Thanks. Looking forward to it.

    Our developer has put in place a fix for this issue in the next version of the theme. In the meantime, try adding this CSS to the bottom of style.css:

    .comments-link:before, .post-date:before, .sticky .post-date:before, .tags-links:before, .byline:before, .hentry .edit-link:before {
         display: inline-block;
    }

    Note that you will lose this change the next time you update the theme, but in this case that’s OK since the theme itself will already incorporate this correction.

    Let me know how it goes.

    There is other problems in entry-meta in RTL. It’s when more than one comment is present and/or when tags are present and/or when post is sticky. the same site shows it.

    I see the problem with problem with icons showing on the left, instead of the right, here:

    The icon for sticky post shows up on the left but for tags and comments the problem is more complicated: the tags icon is shown after tags and the comments icon. Comment icon and comments count is shown between the tags icon and tags, and “comments” text is shown after all this lonely!

    The icon for sticky post shows up on the left

    OK, glad that one is clear. ??

    I want to make sure I understand the rest:

    the tags icon is shown after tags and the comments icon. Comment icon and comments count is shown between the tags icon and tags, and “comments” text is shown after all this lonely!

    Would it be possible to draw me a little picture of what it’s supposed to look like so I can be sure to pass along the right information to our devs?

    Of course! Here you are: RTL syntax

    Thank you, that is super helpful! I will pass this along to our developers for a fix in the next update.

    Howdy! Can you try downloading the latest version of the theme from this URL?
    https://public-api.wordpress.com/rest/v1/themes/download/syntax.zip

    It may not be updated on WP.org yet, but it appears to be fixed for us in this version. Please let us know. Thanks!

    Featured, author and tags icons are still in the left.
    You can see: syntax.webnashr.com

    OK, I think we have a fix for those! Give this version, 1.0.4, a try and let us know:

    Thanks!

    The icons position is fixed but now comments and/or tags are shown in two lines.
    Thank you.

    Could you please link me to a post where you see these on two lines as I spot-checked your site but couldn’t find any examples. Thanks!
