The week start day can be either Monday or Sunday; in that regard the calendar conforms to the setting on the Settings -> General page of the WordPress admin – its right at the bottom of that page.

As for RTL support, generally that would be something your theme would need to support rather than the plugin – the calendar is rendered as a basic table of dates. If this isn’t working for you, I’d need to see an example of what a RTL calendar is supposed to look like in order to know if I can help support it or not

when the week start on Sunday, you still color Saturday and Sunday as the weekend. I think it should be Friday and Saturday (It will simplify your code).

RTL – I’m still checking why the text is not justified to the right.

Ah, well the colours are an interesting thing. The week starting on a Sunday is something I added several years ago in response to feedback from US users. They don’t however, despite starting the week on a different day of the week, consider the weekend to consist of different days of the week – the weekend is considered to be book ends and this is reflected in the colours remaining for Saturday and Sunday. One can also consider that despite Sunday being the start of the week, it is not a working day, neither is Saturday for most businesses.
