    Hi Monalisa,

Your plugin works great for buddypress, but I am also using rtmedia plugin and there’s a lightbox pop-up window where people can write comments.

Is there’s a way I can hook this happy-faces feature into this rtmedia comment box as well?

    Please advise thanks,

Mhm,…okay, so let’s try to dinf the difference.

I am using rtMedia 4.3.1 (free)

    • Under Settings -> BuddyPress -> INTEGRATION WITH BUDDYPRESS FEATURES everything is “on”
    • Unser Settings -> BuddyPress -> COMMENT MEDIA is “on”
    • Under Settings -> Display -> SingleMEdiaView –
    • Allow user to comment on uploaded media is “on”
    • wp-monalisa Activate for BuddyPress is “on”
    • wp-monalisa Activate for bbPress is “on”

    Looks like this:
    Smilies in rtmedia lightbox

As an alternative you can send me access data to support at tuxlog dot de, so I can analyze easier.

    Hi tuxlog,

    Thanks for the image btw..

I have all the listing turn on as now.

1st, I am still running rtmedia Version 4.0.3, not sure is that’s why? I will update to the latest to see.

2nd, I don’t remembered? But if there a camera on the lightbox on 4.0.3 (old version) what I’m still using LOL.

Anyhow, at the beginning, I didn’t know it can turn-off-on the camera feature from the setting. So what I did is to hide the camera using CSS, so the camera is hiding somewhere? (see screenshot). The screenshot is from the activity stream.

Click here to see the camera shot

If using the CSS what is hiding, and also IF associate with the camera on the lightbox camera, maybe this is the reason is not showing?

If that is the case? I am still digging into the css to un-hide it, no luck yet… then possible the camera will end up show on the lightbox comment, most likely Monalisa will end up will show below it like the screens-shot you shown me.

Just it’s freaky, after the page is loaded, no camera button on the activity stream, monalisa is there, but not on the lightbox comment? Maybe is different layout, just guessing…

I will update information once I get this camera square away.

Thanks so much for your wonderful support, be back soon.

    Hi tuxlog,

GOOD NEWS… Although took me hours to dig into the CSS. did some cleaning up. So not bad.

I updated latest 4.3.1 and the happy-icon came thru instantly.. All that time it was the old version of rtmedia LOL.

(List Media View) Use lightbox to display media [ON].
The freaky thing is, now the lightbox is not working as normal? Instead, it shown below the profile, well below the buddypress tabs actually. Like I say, Freaky

It was fine before I updated, but even the photo you shown, it’s the lightbox.

I guess I will put a support on rtmedia forums to see why?

But overall, now it works (Click to smile, icon). The lightbox is fancy, but it roll below LOL..

Anyhow, Thank you so much Tuxlog for your super support thru out the time.

Truly appreciate very much.. Thanks again.
