• Don’t bother installing this if you want ALL images in your posts besides the featured image.

Also, if you read his replies to other reviews that are not favorable he takes on an attitude. Proper and thorough documentation IS lacking, he gives more documentation in his snarky replies. Uninstalled.

For those reading, the reviewer is talking about this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/images-not-showing-up-70/#post-8957684 where they ask how to get WordPress-hosted images to show up as Tumblr-hosted images inside Tumblr’s Dashboard (which Tumblr displays differently).

As you can see from the linked thread, this reviewer is asking for something that Tumblr just doesn’t do, or else their expressed desire is unclear.

Being upset with this plugin for not changing Tumblr’s user interface is of course an absurdly misguided reaction, much like asking for a flying car from a shop offering free car upgrade shops. (And then equally absurd for being upset at being given a terse reply. “What? No flying car!? I don’t appreciate your snark! I will write a nasty review of your totally free car plugin that I was never asked to pay for!”)

I do hope this reviewer learns enough about the tools they use to more usefully direct their frustrations in the future.
