Plugin ruined wp-config.php as I did try to click on “give it a shot”

Domainer cannot function until you complete the following:

Copy sunrise.php file in Domainer’s plugin folder to your site’s wp-content directory.
Add define(‘SUNRISE’, true); to your site’s wp-config.php file.

Domainer may be able to do this itself. Click here to give it a shot.

Every page running on same Multisite WP Installation was down in no time and there was no access to WP Backoffice.

There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

    Very very very bad idea.

I apparently didn’t have a functioning safety check in place to make sure the sunrise.php file was properly installed before adding the SUNRISE line to wp-config.php, which caused the error. I’ve patched this in the new 1.2.1 update and further added checks about where it can write to before even offering the “give it a shot” option.

Thank you for your reply and quick patch-up.

I believe the plugin is a great idea. Anyway, my experience was negative and it looks like you missed some essential part of the overall algorithm. Most likely you won’t have me on your boat but with the respect to coding efforts I would like to wish you success with your plugin.

Totally understand, the plugin is semi-defunct anyway since WordPress 4.5 added built in domain mapping.
