Running Post Publish Plugins after XML-RPC Posts

  • Dear WordPress Gurus,
    I’m trying to get the LivePress plugin (available here: https://somuchgeek.com/code/livepress/ ) to run after I make a post via the XML-RPC interface. (Using W.Bloggar available here: https://somuchgeek.com/code/livepress/) Anyhow I’ve tried hacking up the xmlrpc.php file to have do_action(‘publish_post’, $post_ID) after the posts, but that doesn’t seem to be doing the trick. Does anyone here have any experience with getting post publish plugins to run after posts via the xmlrpc interface? The plugin seems to work fine when I enter posts through the wordpress backend, so I think it’s mostly a matter of getting it called, as functionally it seems solid. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Nate
