Running slow

  • Hello,

    I have noticed recently that my website is running quite slow. Sometimes it even takes more than 8 seconds to load a page!

    I am sure that the problem is not my ISP as I have already tried in two different countries (both near the server location).

    Consequently, I am wondering whether it’s the fault of some of my plugins or my host. I have contacted my host and they said to download P3 Profiler plugin, but from the support threads it seems outdated and not working.

    I did not manage to find any similar plugin, and all my searches redirected to P3 Profiler.

    Does anyone know how I can measure the impact of plugins on my website?

    PS: Images never exceed 500Kb per page.

    Did you end up running P3 Profiler? Even though it hasn’t been updated in a while it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. What does it say after you run it?

    You can also use Chrome (Or Firefox) dev tools and see if there are any specific resources that are loading slowly. This will point you in the direction of what’s taking so much time to load, perhaps leading you to the plugin causing the issues.
