Running two instances of wordpress.

    I have installed one version of wordpress in the route directory and it works fine. The other I have installed in a folder calles /ru to run a Russian version of the site. The version has installed OK, but when I click on a link, it reverts to the en version in the route directory. Help please?

    – double check the URL in the admin

    – if you are using permalinks, check your htaccess file.

    I have put the full url in the general settings, WordPress Address (URL)
    Site Address (URL) with /ru
    I am using permalinks and will now check the htaccess.
    Hmm, no htaccess file in the /ru folder. Do I need to change the .htaccess file in the route directory or, place a new one with ‘rules in the /ru folder?
