Running Unbelievably Slow

  • Hello!

    I just installed a fresh copy of the latest WP on my Godaddy server and not only are the live pages coming up slow, the dashboard is CRAWLING…. Example, adding a new page: 20 secs for the Add New page to appear, then 20 seconds after hitting publish…

    I feel like I’m on dial-up with this install.

    And no trouble with any other sites…

    Any clues?

  • You should ask Godaddy to look into it and possibly move you to a new server. They host a huge number of sites and so this happens all of the time on their server.
