    Running this on 15.8:

    wp yoast index --reindex --skip-confirmation

    I am seeing it run forever

    It goes to 100% but then looks like this (so the time goes past)

    Indexing posts 100% [=============================================================================================================================] 1:12 / 1:10

    and keeps going.

  • Hi @broksonic,

    That’s strange. Can you give us an estimate of how many pages are on your site?

    If you go to SEO > Tools, does the SEO data optimization appear as completed? If not, are you able to click the button to complete the process manually?

    Also, if you run the optimization with other plugins disabled, does this problem still happen? You can do this using wp yoast index --reindex --skip-themes --skip-plugins=excluded-plugin-1,excluded-plugin-2

    About 500?

    wp yoast index –reindex –skip-themes

    still fails same way

    I should note: wp_yoast_indexable is empty after I kill it at 100%

    I should say this is an environment where wp_cron doesn’t work at all (behind basic auth) – so if you depend on that, I’d understand but that’s not documented for this call.

    Thanks for your clarification. This is very odd. Can you please perform a full conflict check to see whether this improves anything for you? You can find the full conflict check guide here https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/
