    NextGen Version: 3.41
    WordPress: 6.3.2
    Theme: Activello version 1.4.4

Still have the problem of case https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/runtimeexception-thrown-7/ !
/bitnami/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_gallery/templates/thumbnails/default-view.php is not a valid MVC template
When I deactivate the NextGen-Plugin the Homepage is working pretty well (except the galleries off course ;-)).
I assume that it could caused by running wordpress in a docker-unit with wordpress in an userdefined path: /bitnami/wordpress/… . Is there any fixed path / reference to root in the code?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @ns1045,

We look forward to having this one fixed in the future NGG updates, but you can feel free to reach out to our support at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/, and we’ll provide you with a file patch for now that hopefully should fix the problem.

Please mention this thread’s URL and that Mihai has suggested you to ask for a patched package.module.mvc.php file.

    Thanks

I also still have this issue with my bitnami wordpress container and the latest versions 3.39 and 3.41.

My current workaround is using version 3.37 until it is fixed. You can download the package and install it to replace it with the currently installed version.

To download the old version use this url: https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/nextgen-gallery.3.37.zip

    Hi @kimdre,

Could you please update to NextGen Gallery 3.54 to see if that has fixed the problem?

    Thanks

    It seems to work!

However the issues described in this issue still persist -> https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/404-errors-on-asset-load/

Yes indeed bug is fixed here as well. Thanks a lot

I am having the same issue. Started when I ran the auto-updater in the backend of WP. I haven’t been able to login to the backend of my WP site for a week. Email support is terrible, I must add. W keeps telling me to install a fresh install of WP, or change the name of my directory and all kinds of nonsense, instead of addressing this known issue with the plugin. My latest reply to W via email:

“Your replies make no sense. Please stop asking me to do a bunch of busy work. This is a known issue with your plugin. Please send me a quick patch or instructions to get my backend back up and running. Do NOT ask me to do any more busywork. The issue is your plugin, not where WP is installed etc. This all started when I ran the auto-update for the next gen gallery plugin. There is a bug in it. https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/runtimeexception-thrown-with-version-3-4-1/ Please send me an old, safe version of the plugin to install, or a patch to fix the bug in your latest version. If you cannot do this, please escalate this ticket to a manager.”
