I’ve installed and setup the plugin. I’ve been using JVZoo for a few years. I setup my product and added the Method #4 on jvzoo

    Proxy Gateway
    Custom Field
    Userlevel

When i do a purchase it sends the jvzoo email out but the sale isn’t registered on the site so they are not getting the site email. If i turn off jvzoo and use paypal then the emails are sent.

I’ve got on the site Level0 and Level1 (Paid)

I really want to integrate and use jvzoo. I’ve seen lots of posts but no real answers on this subject.

Does anyone have any ideas on this. This is the last hurdle i am at just now.

    Thanks

    James

  • Hi, I havent actually integrated JVZoo with s2member BUT….

I have integrated jvzoo with optimizepress.

They look pretty much the same and the s2member choices are apparent in the video here.

The only thing that I do see that is different are the capabilities. In Optimizepress (OP) you add a capability in the choose Membership Levels. So.. the capability is kinda permanently marked so to speak.

With s2member the capabilities seem to be chosen per page/membership etc (via the buttons) so I can only presume that the capability is REMEMBERED IN THE DATABASE. And so when you create a button with the capability it seems to be the same as creating a JVZoo product using a capability.

In the video just assign a capability like normal in s2member (via a specific page etc) and in jvzoo do as he says as regards a capability (in the video he uses ebook1 as an example capability) (OP/in the video the guy calls them packages and not capabilities).

After setting up, create a test button/purchase in jvzoo. But mnake sure that:

1 – You have USD as a payment type/method WITHIN paypal.
2 – There is at least $1 in the paypal account.

When I did this I actually changed the price of the product to $1 and tested an actual button because some say that paypal doesnt accept the payment (an error occurs at paypal end) because the payment needs to be at least 0.50c.

This is the link to the instructions to integrate OP (and s2member).

You can use the search term: “optimize press and jvzoo integration” (without the ” ” )
in google for some more videos and related posts.

PS: Watch the video to the end as there are things to note:

    test in a different browser

    and

Need of a seperate paypal account to test with.
