If anyone had hoped to run these two concurrently on one site, the SSL options don’t work with each other. Turning SSL off on either, and it will work.

Setting up the Woo shop, with force SSL turned on, will send all SSL protected s2Member pages into a redirect loop that will not end.

I am working to see if I can force SSL on just the checkout page within Woo to make it work. If you have encountered a similar issue, I’d appreciate your work arounds. So far, both Woo and s2Member are just pointing fingers at one another with no options or hints at what can be corrected to create a fix.

I’ve been going round and round with all parties on this subject for three days now, but think I’ve found a very workable solution.

First I opted to downgrade my WooCommerce back to to 2.0. I’m not sure this is necessary, but I was having other issues as well so did so.

Second, do NOT use the built in Force SSL option within WooCommerce. On your checkout, pay, and other secure pages, use s2Member’s force ssl custom field.

So far, I am able to run my store securely AND use the s2Member checkout functions well without error. Well, so far. Hope this helps others.

Thank you for your solution @mrshaffly….It worked like a charm. =]

    Glad I could help.

I’ve got this same issue but I’m also using the paypal pro add-on with woocommerce. Unless I allow woocommerce to do the ssl I can only checkout in sandbox mode with the add-on. When I enable this it creates and redirectly loop with s2member on my secure checkouts for my membership portion. Any other thoughts?
