s2member, idevAffiliate and WooCommerce setup

  • I have a membership site that uses s2member and idevaffiliate for my affiliate program. I want to start up-selling with some digital products and I’m considering woocommerce to handle this. Here is the catch… I want idevaffiliate to give out commissions for this up-sales to the affiliate who originally referred the customer/member.

    How can this be accomplished? Thanks!

  • Since you will be selling digital and not physical products, my very strong recommendation would be not to use WooCommerce for this, but Easy Digital Downloads. There is an EDD extension for iDevAffiliate, so that should provide what you need.

    Just confirmed with the developer that their extension will not accomplish this. It will only assign a commission to whoever refers a costumer who purchased a an item, not the original member referrer.

    Any other ideas? Thanks!
