S2Member Server Scanner – Help
-
I ran this server scanner and it says this:
[ERROR] cURL Extension / Or fopen() URL
One or more HTTP connection tests failed against localhost.
Cannot connect to self over HTTP — possible DNS resolution issue.
Can’t connect to: https://MyDomain.comIn order to run s2Member, your installation of PHP needs one of the following…
? Either the cURL extension for remote communication via PHP (plus the OpenSSL extension for PHP).
? Or, set: allow_url_fopen = on in your php.ini file (and enable the OpenSSL extension for PHP).but the php.ini file already has this:
allow_url_fopen = OnI know I have used cURL in some of my programming on this server, so pretty sure it is enabled.
So, how do I fix that one?
I also am getting this error:
[WARNING] Plugin Directory Checksum (s2member-pro)dismiss?
Although NOT required, s2Member recommends that you reinstall the following plugin directory: /home/userpath/public_html/wp-content/plugins/s2member-pro. The checksum for this plugin directory (fd66299c9c7d29ed2c08e04fe21e4cb1), does NOT match up with the official release of this plugin (0749a5ce75c7e93fb6f4a7253e9a4365). An invalid checksum can be caused by an incomplete set of files. Or, by files that should NOT appear in this directory. Or, by corrupted files in this directory. Reinstalling the official release of this plugin should correct this issue. If all else fails, please check your method of upload. We recommend FTP via FileZilla?. Also, please be sure the following file extensions are uploaded in ASCII mode (php, html, xml, txt, css, js, ini, pot, po, sql, svg). All other files should be uploaded in BINARY mode. Some FTP applications (like FileZilla?), can be configured to automatically recognize file extensions that should be uploaded in ASCII mode, while all others will be uploaded in BINARY mode by default. With this type of configuration, use upload mode AUTO.
I deleted all the files, including s2member-pro
and then downloaded it again from the membership area.
Then extracted it on my computer, made sure the ASCII files as showed above where set to auto and so made sure that worked. Then uploaded it then reloaded the test. Same thing.
So that did not fix it.
How do I fix this problem?
