S2W Sorting products new to old

I have tried everything to my knowledge but when I sort products that have been imported as new to old it lists them old to new. I have tried deleting the import and selecting ascending and again for descending with fresh imports.

Any suggestions on how I can list my imported products from new to old?

I have selected product sorting as latest products first on the Shoptimizer Theme but still lists oldest first.
