S3 Bucket in EU not wokring

When creating a bucket from WP-admin in EU, no information is stored about the bucket is in EU. The affects, that the putBucket() method in S3.php in libs, never has a $location parameter to be set to ‘EU’.
You cannot use EU buckets because of temporary redirects.
I tried to create a bucket, and then manually changing the $location parameter in putBucket() from false to ‘EU’ – then everything works.
