Safari and IE don't display results of search

  • When using the shortcode [wp_simple_locator] on a page and doing a search for a location, I get the expected map and results on Chrome and Firefox.

    However in Safari or in IE11, the search does not work. The ajax call clearly runs, but then the html shows no map and no results returned. It is as though nothing has happened except a brief blip of the screen.

    I was testing with
    – Safari version 8.0.7 on a mac running Yosemite 10.10.4
    – IE11 on a PC running windows 8
    I am running the latest version of wordpress and using Simple Locator Plugin Version 1.4.0

    Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
