Safari and iOS incompatibility
-
Hey Lynton,
I am just starting a new thread before replying so that other users with the same problem can follow up on this issue.
I got your message saying that the ajax request was not going through on safari 5.* when you tested it on your sister’s computer because of a missing js class.
Question : can you manage to use another js class that would be compatible with all browsers in an upcoming update of the plugin? I don’t mean for this to become a burden for you but as Safari is a widely used browser, making the plugin compatible would benefit you as well as us. If that would become a request requiring a quote from you, let me know so that we might discuss it.Furthermore, following up on this, I tested it on another computer which is recent, on Mac OSX 10.9.5 (compatible with newest browsers updates) with the latest available version of all browsers. Here are the results :
– On Firefox 34.0.5 :
The plugin does not work : it shows, but when clicking on the start or next button, it is impossible to move to the next step of the workflow, just like on iPhone. (Contrarily to old Firefox 33.0.2 on old Mac OSX 10.6.8 where it works normally).
– On Safari 7.1.2 :
Same result : The plugin does not work : it shows, but when clicking on the start or next button, it is impossible to move to the next step of the workflow, just like on iPhone. (difference with Safari 5.*, this time the ajax request comes through, but the other problem appears).
– On Chrome 39.0.2171.95 :
Works normally.I really would like to be able to use this plugin, so let me know if this can be worked out.
Thank you,
Best,
Marie
