    Hi

I’ve done exhaustive and long searches on this! I can’t seem to find a definitive answer.

I’m using AddFunc Mobile Detect on a one page website and want a different page to be loaded for mobiles. I’m pretty sure I haven’t done anything wrong in the configuration.

Is there a tried and tested answer to how to solve this issue in Safari on mobiles, plus I get a similar message on mobile google.

I will be eternally grateful if someone can help – please????

    Many thanks in advance

Can you send a screenshot or share exactly what you’re entering into the fields? Or if you can at least provide a representation using replacement charactors like x.xxxxxxxxxxx.com, then I may be able to help guide you in the right direction.

    Hi

    Thanks for your reply.

I’ve now opted for redesigning the website in question a little so the desktop files look fine on a mobile now. I never did resolve the redirect problem, but now luckily I don’t need to… The site has gone live.

    Thanks anyway

Okay. Well thanks for letting me know.

I have the same issue as doulou.

It says “cannot open the page because too many redirects occurred” on iPhone.
I have a one page website with a couple of image links that go to “portfolio” pages and have built a home page specifically for mobile.

I would like the index to link to the mobile home page when a mobile phone is detected.

Do I need to change anything in my settings?

    Thanks

Mandy, I had this problem when I first installed it because it got into a self-referential loop–I think it is because you are redirecting to a folder within your main domain so the browser tells it to keep on redirecting to no end. I moved my mobile site to a subdomain (e.g., mobile.yoursite.com) and that works.

    Thanks for the reply Shangelman!

Ill look into the sub domain idea and see if I can get it work.
but Im not sure how we would move our mobile page/url to a sub domain as it is literally an alternate home page with in our site.
