Safari suggests email before wheel appears

    Hi, I’m having an issue wchich I think is related to the most recent update. I use Safari on Mac OS X, which has a feature that suggests a randomized email whenever it spots an email field. The issue is that when I open my page i see the email suggestion popup exactly where email field for the Optin Wheel is scheduled to appear, but before the Wheel appears. Can you please take a look into that? Thank you. Great plugin overall!

    Are you sure this feature is built in Safari? I also use Safari and never heard of this. Googling it suggest that perhaps you are using “Hide My Email” which automatically creates random email addresses connected to your iCloud. Are you perhaps refering to that? Unfortunately, we have no control over that application and it appears they are not checking if an email field is hidden or not before opening their popup.

    Indeed it’s an iCloud feature but it only pops out in Safari.

    Perhaps the field could be declared as something else than an email?

    It’s weird but I am pretty sure this issue never appeared before a few days ago.

    We didn’t make changes to our email field so I would be surprised if the last update triggered this issue. This is not coming from our plugin but the iCloud extension is doing that, so my guess is they updated their extension and now have a bug?

    Hmm ok. We will Google and see if this is something we should change on our end but I don’t think we can do much about it.
