Safe File Uploading?

Hi,

In our industry, preliminary quotes are often made from engineering drawings. These drawings are emailed in PDF form.

Well, sales wants to have an “upload file” button on our Contact Us form.

1 – Is that safe to do?
2 – What is the best approach to go about it?
3 – What safeguards are commonly used?
