Safe to delete hello.php and Akismet?

    Is it safe to remove the Hello Dolly and Akismet plugins if I’m not using them? Would this interfere with automatic upgrades? Thanks.

  • it is safe to remove them. They will show back up after each upgrade. Honestly tho, I would consider using akismet…its very good,a nd helpful

    Thanks for the quick reply! I’ve disabled comments on my site; otherwise I’d definitely use Akismet. Thanks again for your help.
