I’ve haven’t done anything like this, but if you can add a conditional statement to your functions.php file you should be able to make this work.
This explains how to add a function that displays weight, so altering it to a conditional should be similar. Hope this helps!

@yaarule – in addition to what @johannsf mentioned above, there may be other options if you’re using the standard quantity input to define ‘kg’. Here are some plugins that allow you to set a minimum and maximum quantity on your products:

I decided to download the plugin because it was the fastest way to the problem I had and since I am not a coder it was easier for me to handle.
