Sale price Scheduling, product visible via sale shortcode after schedule end

    Hi,

    we’re experiencing something weird. When we setup a product with a Sale price and add a schedule to it for the sale price, everything works perfectly.

    However, when the schedule has reached its endtime, the product still shows up via the shortcode [sale_products], but with the regular price.

    We would expect the product not to be shown via the shortcode [sale_products] at all, because the schedule of the sale price has ended and the product is no longer in sale.

    Are we maybe doing something wrong? (maybe there is a attribute we can use for the shortcode to exclude sale products that are over schedule?)

    Hi @kesleywp

    The [sale_products] shortcode should automatically remove products from the list once their sale schedule ends. If this isn’t happening, it could be due to a caching issue. Try clearing your site’s cache to see if this resolves the issue.

    If this makes no difference, head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear
    • Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
    • Clear customer sessions -Clear
    • Product lookup tables – Regenerate
    • Regenerate the product attributes lookup table – Regenerate

    Next, please clear your browser cache and then check again.
