Sale Transactions Not Working When Using Paypal Vault

  • This site is running WP 4.9.5, wooCommerce 3.3.5, PHP 7.0 and Paypal for wooCommerce 1.4.7.4.

    When a user donates on this page, or any other page on the site, using a stored credit card, it kicks back the error “23 – invalid account number”. The only difference I can see between this and a successful transaction is the successful transaction is an authorization(as opposed to a sale) and contains what looks like an authorization transaction id in the origid field of the request.

    What is going wrong here?

    We would need to see some logs to get an idea of what’s going on here, but first, I would recommend you get everything updated. It looks like you’re behind on WordPress, WooCommerce, and our plugin versions.
