Hi @josecarlosamaral,

Just to make sure we’re on the same page, do you mean that when you set up a scheduled sale on WooCommerce, both dates disappear or is this issue happening on a certain promotions plugin?

not both sales disappear, but the start date disappear. Here in Portugal we have the legal obligation to show start date and finish date on sale products, and like this the start date don’t show.

In screenshot, i show you one test product that is on sale since 26 of April, and the start sale date disappeared.

Hi @josecarlosamaral,

On my test site, the start and end dates remain when I set them, maybe you can try conflict testing when setting up another scheduled sale to see if the problem’s cause could be a plugin/theme conflict. Here’s how to do a conflict test: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

By default, the scheduled sale dates will not be shown on your product page. Thus, you will need some custom code to show the dates to the customers.

I’ve found an article that has a working code that shows the sale end date on your product page: https://www.terrytsang.com/tutorial/woocommerce/add-sales-end-date-for-woocommerce-product-price/

Since we do not offer custom code support, you may want to consult a developer or the WooCommerce Customizations Experts for modifications of the code.

is not when i set the start and end dates but after start date is reached disappears from the field.

I have test it in a clean site and with storefront and have the same problem.

In this case i have the code to show sales dates on product page, but the start sale date don’t works properly when it starts, it disappears.

Kindly try doing a conflict test as suggested above: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

You may want to comment out the custom code while conflict testing to be sure that it’s not the custom code that’s causing the issue.

I already send to you what i did.

In screenshot, i show you one test product that is on sale since 26 of April, and the start sale date disappeared.

I put sale date from 26 to 27.
When reaches 26 the date 26 disappears.

After following the steps of the conflict test the result is the same. I placed a promotion on the 4th of May to start on the 5th of May, and when it arrived on the 5th the promotion started but the date disappeared from the backend, remaining as shown in the image, empty.

It is very strange and, for Portugal legally, I need the start and end dates of a sales date.

This only happens in a scheduled promotion.

Hi,

Just a small observation about your screenshot, I see that several other plugins were still active when this happened. Keep in mind that any of these plugins could be the cause.

Nonetheless, to get more details about the problem, does the start date of the sales disappear immediately after setting it or does the disappearance happen only after the start date is reached?

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
