    Hi,
I have tried to set sales price without scheduling to specific time, then it is working and sales product is visible under “On sale page” that I created using shortcode _products per_page=”12″]

However when applying “specific time, scheduling sales price”, the sales prices is not working and showing the original product price. Is there any error with scheduling price based on time?

I have already updated the newest version of woocommerce today

  • Hi

I’m using newest version of woocommerce and have not your problem.

Check Start date for on sale products and if using plugin to change date or calendar deactivate it.

If problem still there switch your theme to 2020 and deactivate all plugins except woocommerce and test again.

    Good Luck

I cannot switch my theme as this will make that I will lost all the work done until now.
This does not make any sense.
and yes, the sales dates are correct, in future, so this answer is not correct.

    Hi there,

    To clarify:

    – You are using the shortcode to display your products
    – You have set a scheduled sale price with dates in the future
    – You are seeing the original price displayed on your page

The behavior above sounds like what should be expected: the sale price will not be displayed until that scheduled date is reached. Until that date, it will display the original price. After the start date is reached, then the sale will begin and it will show the sale price instead.

Does that make sense? Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thank you very much Sir,

    – You have set a scheduled sale price with dates in the future: YES
    – You are seeing the original price displayed on your page: YES

YES, this is correct. I scheduled price like if today is 24.march, I set the sales price from 27th march to 15th april. So, this will not be displayed? Only if we schedule sales price from current start date will be displayed?

    Hi there,

From your example, it should show the original price from today (March 24th) until March 26th. Then on the 27th, the sale would begin and it would switch to displaying the sale price. Finally on April 15th the sale would end and it would switch back to displaying the original price again.

Just to confirm, in your original message, you said you were using shortcode _products per_page=”12″]. I guessed you meant [products per_page=”12″], is that correct?

Is your issue that it is displaying the original price instead of the sale price? Or that it is displaying on your “On sale page” even if the sale has not started yet?

Whether you are using a shortcode, or just viewing the regular product page, the sale price (when scheduled) will not be displayed unless today’s date is between the start date and end date of the scheduled sale. If the start sale date is in the future, or the end sale date is in the past, then it will just display the regular/original price.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi Kelly,
For sales page, I’m using shortcode: [sale_products per_page=”12″]

Yes, it is now displaying sales product on sales page.
    https://iqm.no/Dummy/sale-products/
So, now I understood that the sales date has to start, we cannot show sales that is upcoming next week on sales page.

Is your issue that it is displaying the original price instead of the sale price? YES, before sales date started.
Or that it is displaying on your “On sale page” even if the sale has not started yet? Yes, but now I understood that the sales price will be displayed once the sales date has started, not before.

Thank you again to make it clear!!
