Same image uploaded to CF twice

  • Hey Anton,

    Firstly, this is an exceptional plugin, so thank you very much for all your time and effort that went into this.

    I’ve got a few questions if that’s ok.

    1. I’m using the Advanced Custom Fields ACF plugin and a post submission form (WSForm plugin) that uses the ACF gallery field for uploading images.
    This works very well, images are submitted and automatically offloaded to CF, but they are submitted to CF account twice.
    Any idea what could be happening here and how to fix it?

    2. When I check the automatic resizing on frontend option, what exactly does this do and does it have anything to do with the Image Variants feature in CF?

    3. And lastly, I’m hoping to offload all my 3000 images to CF and delete them from my server/media library.

    However it would be great if the plugin connects CF with my media library, so the image is present in the media library, but it’s actually hosted on CF.

    Currently if I delete the image from media library, it also deletes it from CF, so is there any way to host images on CF, have them visible in media library, but not on my server?

    1. I’ll need to test this out and try to replicate. I’ll get back to you on this one.
    2. The latest versions of the plugin do not use variants, because it is possible to resize with parameters. The way auto resize works – it will auto adjust the size of the image on the front-end (via parameters) based on the real size of the DOM element. And it will also include a 2x size for retina displays.
    3. I am currently working on this feature. With the current version it’s only possible to store images on both the site and Cloudflare
