    Out of the blue starting 3/1/2019 all orders received are displaying my host servers IP address and not the customers. No changes or plugins were added to Woocommerce from the previous day when it displayed the proper IP to the following day when it did not. I have been using Woocommerce for several years without this ever happening, any help would be appreciated.

    @wooguy I hope we do not have to change, maybe with @fastraks reply we might get a fix.
    @fastrak Thanks for providing the response you received, I passed in on to Hostgator.
    @doctorkaraca Thanks for your input and confirming our suspicions.

    Great news @fastrak. Can somebody confirm when HostGator fixes this issue?

    @doctorkaraca and @wooguy I received an email from Hostgator and it is below, so far with testing on my contact form it is returning the proper IP, now I just need to wait for a sale on Woocommerce to verify that the customers IP is shown.
    We understand that this was an issue deeper than that of the actual WordPress installation. Upon further investigation the x-forward was not respecting the actual request and it was reflecting the servers IP. There are now directives in the server to push the requests from server address to remote address. We have written a test that show the result of our work today where the remote address should be correct now.

    I will post back with the result of their change to the server.

    @drnick2
    I just ran a test sale and sorry to say it’s still the same on my site.
    Still getting HostGator’s IP address.
    Nothing has changed.

    @wooguy I just received a sale and the IP address was the customers, so all is good so far. I’m sure you will let the admin you are working with know that a solution was found, the admin that took care of mine was named:
    Micheal T.
    Tier III Web Adviser

    Let me know how it works out for you.

    Happy to report the issue has been resolved for me! Things are working as they should!

    Glad to hear everyone is getting this fixed.
    I contacted HostGator again and they have yet to fix it.

    I will let you know the outcome.

    @wooguy Sorry to hear your server has not been taken care of yet, just keep on them and let us when it is resolved for you.

    Well as of yesterday I’m happy to report HostGator resolved the cloud hosting issue.
    Took an extra month but they did it!
    Resolved on my site for now. ??

    @wooguy I was wondering what happened to your situation, to bad it took a month but great news everything is resolved ??

    Thanks and good to hear from you drnick2.

    I know HostGator gets a bad rap because they are owned by Endurance International Group but they did take care of the problem.
    All in all they have pretty good support and cloud hosting is the best price there.

    Here’s hoping for a few weeks of smooth sailing before the next business issue or some update pops up.

    @wooguy I agree with you 100%, its nice to be able to talk to somebody and not just live chat or email like I have to do with some other companies.So far since they took care of the issue no problems, lets hope that continues, good luck to you and your business.

    @drnick2
    Thanks and same to you ??
