    Hi there –
We recently had a client reach out to us that they were trying to share a post on LinkedIn but when they did, another post’s data (image, title and link) showed up instead. When we tried, we also noticed this happens on Facebook and Twitter as well. We checked the page code and saw that no matter what post it was, 1 particular post’s data showed in the in the open graph code. We’d never ran into this before. We turned off Open Graph in settings for now, but are wondering what would even cause this to begin with?

    Hi @jvmd

We understand when you share post A on LinkedIn, the image, title and link of post B appear. Same is true for FaceBook and Twitter.

Can you kindly edit post A, check the Yoast SEO metabox and open the social tab. From social tab > Social media appearance, make sure you have added your preferred title, image and meta description within social title, social image and social description field.

For Twitter, kindly check Yoast SEO metabox > social tab >Twitter appearance and make sure you have set the image, title and meta description as you prefer for post A to show on Twitter.
