• Hi,

we are using the custom permalink plugin together with WPML.

Our URL structure looks like this:

    devpage.com/abc (default language EN)
    de.devpage.com/abc
    fr.devpage.com/abc
    es.devpage.com/abc

If we access devpage.com/abc we are being redirected to de.devpage.com/abc. But this redirect shouldn’t happen!. If we access fr.devpage.com/abc or es.devpage.com/abc no redirect happens and the page is being shown in the correct language.

Only devpage.com/abc (without the language specified as a subdomain) is being redirect to de.devpage.com/abc.

If we set DE as the default language and create an en.devpage.com subdomain for EN, then we can access devpage.com/abc without any issues, and also en.devpage.com/abc works fine.

Only if EN is set as a default language all custom permalinks which exist in EN and DE are redirected to the DE page. And only if the EN custom permalink matches with the DE permalink.

    What we did:
    – saved permalinks
    – emptied WPML cache

Unfortunately we were unable to debug this issue and are looking forward for help.
