Same Product Add to Cart Multiple Time

Hi
I am using Woocommerce version 2.6.4. By adding the same product to the cart multiple times, i am able to checkout even if the quantity has exceeded the maximum limit. Follow the following step to reproduce:

1.) Select the product and add to cart with the maximum quantity allowed.
2.) Do step 1.) multiple times on the same product.
3.) Go to the cart, I would see that the maximum quantity had already exceeded.
4.) Proceed to checkout. I am able to checkout and place order successfully.
