same set of related posts

I’ve been using this plugin for a year now and been really satisfied.
but recently i had problem with my site, and there has been some changes happened. ever since that time, I’m experiencing same set of related posts.

changes happened:
– php version upgraded to 5.6
– wordpress version upgraded to 4.6.1
