Same shortcode, different outputs in diff. languages???

    This is odd… I am testing a bilingual site (via WPML) with a very basic page featuring the [tribe_events] shortcode. The page is exactly the same in both languages, but…

    …in one language, the output is [X events from today onward], which is the expected behavior,
    while in the other language the output is [4 “upcoming” events].

    What’s happening here? Can anybody please help me fix this?
