Same Team with different names

    Hi.

    In my league there are some teams with different name (sponsor) in every season.

    If i change it (topic) where i create matches there is OK on EVENT BLOCK and on MATCH LIST.

    But in last season MATCH LIST there is always shown the first name used where the team was created in last season EVENT BLOCK there is all OK.

    What is the problem?

    Hi there

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Whenever the event title is called (for example team A vs team B) then the name you added in the event edit screen is loaded.

    When you load the teams themselves (rankings, event list shortcodes) the team name is called. So the title registered under the team edit screen is the one used.

    So in your case, you’ll probably need some custom coding to load the correct team name for that specific season.

    and the same “error” apear in a half time/ full time box.

    any idea with custom coding?

    i would like that will be loaded team name in match title and not the team name under Clubs

    Hi there!

    This requires more custom code than we can provide, unfortunately.

    In particular, if you change your names, past events will be affected as well (so you’d need to store different names for each season or similar).
