    Hi AngellEye

This looks like a super plugin and I’ll be willing to donate but am having a problem as when I make an entry in the “Sandbox API User Name” and click save the field has defaulted back the default entry of the WordPress admin username when I go back into the screen. Is this a known error? Everything else is saving fine such as the Sandbox and Live entries for User Name, Password and API Signature all save just fine, it’s just the “Sandbox API User Name”, for some reason are not saving. Could really use some help as we are waiting to go live and really want to use this plugin if possible.

One more thing, I’m using WooCommerce Storefront theme with the WooCommerce ProShop child theme if that adds a little extra background.

    Thanks in Advance…

That’s very odd. It’s not something we’ve had any reports of, so no, it wouldn’t be a known issue.

It sounds like there must be some sort of a conflict with another plugin or something. Can you try disabling other plugins temporarily to see if the issues goes away? Then you could re-enable one at a time until the problem comes back and we’d know the culprit.

Then I could figure out if it’s an issue with our plugin or theirs.

    Hi AngellEye

I have started wondering the same thing myself. I’m going to backup then turn off all of the plugins and see if I can identify what’s going wrong. Thanks for rapid feedback and I’ll be sure to get back to you to let you know the outcome.

    Kind Regards

    Hi AngellEye

Got an update and the issue is resolved. False alarm, I deactivated plugins which had zero effect so I started looking elsewhere and found it to be my password control system kicking in, trying to set the field as the WordPress username. So the issue was from completely outside of WordPress. I deactivated my Chrome Browser password control extension and it fixed the problem.

I have a Chrome extension that controls login to websites and it falsely identified the “Sandbox API User Name” as a WordPress login case and repeatedly populated the field with my WordPress admin user. If this ever gets reported again then temporarily disabling the chromeIPass extension will resolve the problem. Very confusing and it took me a while to spot it.

Thank you for your rapid reply earlier and best of luck with the plugin, it looks fantastic and I’ll definitely support it once I have it up and making sales later this month.

    Kind Regards

Ah, funny how things just don’t make any sense…until they do. ??

Glad you got it worked out!

I know, all part of the fun. When deactivating the plugins don’t do it, you know it’s going to be something very unusual, and so it was – and also completely unrelated. Your plugin looks dead solid, a really nice job and it’s helping a lot of people keep their businesses running so thank you.

Thank you also for the rapid response, I didn’t expect it to be a bug but wanted to eliminate that as a cause to narrow down on what it might be. Just relieved it’s sorted out so I’m doing some final sandbox testing now. All looking very good ??

I’ll be finished testing soon and going live so should be able to get something up online for you today and thank you once again for the prompt feedback, which I’ll also mention. This is a vital plugin and the excellent support is a major bonus so I’ll also contribute over the next few days.

    Hi AngellEye

If you’re still about, is there anything, other than the usual concerns about using your plugin with a WooCommerce store under WP Super Cache? Any recommendations on do’s and don’ts for setting it up? Or maybe an article somewhere on the web? Thanks in advance.
