    Or the developers could just do what was suggested? At least an upload button for custom icons, it shouldn’t be that hard to implement, should it?

    Getting rid of something that was working before and then telling users to hire a developer if they want to bring it back, instead of fixing the security issue or replacing the feature with something else, is just too unprofessional, specially because the plugin already has issues, like not prompting users before deleting a custom field, like not using the “save” button to save the changes to the custom fields, but instead relying 100% on ajax. And since this plugin has its paid features, it’s not like there are no resources to re-implement that simple feature.
