Sarcasm In A Bottle

  • My new blog, https://sarcasminabottle.com, is up and running and I was wondering if you guys would let me know how it looks on your side of the computer screen. What improvements do you feel could be made? The main goal is readability–I don’t want anyone straining too hard to read my blog because the text is too small or the colors are hard to see.

    first thing I would say is the design looks great but it doesn’t validate. There are a couple of minor errors in the html you could sort out quickly – see https://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//sarcasminabottle.com/ for more.

    looks good to me, your horizontal menu seems to be 1 pixel too big for the row it’s in though.

    Thanks for the credit there is just this hnav thing. Incidentally the new Odyssey range will ship with hnav fitted. A touch of line height might do it so that it settles flush. But its looking good. Welcome to Wp and welcome to the Gemini template.

    What Iawtai said about the menu. Iit’s a simple, elegant layout. I like.

    Perhaps an overuse of borders? Not sure the colour, or the border itself fits well on the layout. Same with the comments. Less is often more, but if you can make it work like th erest of the site, I think you’re on a winner

    The problem source of the hnav menu is now fixed–the #navcontainer ul li a height was 2px larger than the height of the menu.

    heh much better. This is prolly just my personal preference, but I think it looks a little off with the turquoise border and the hnav going up against it being a different color. It kinda looks as if your hnav isn’t extending as far as it should since the border matches the color or the background in your sidebar. Again, this is just my opinion, so feel free to ignore ??
