Hi, I am working with your plugin since a while and it is really great to use. I have one thing which would help a lot if I could save a table format as a template. Maybe you could realize this in a future update? Thank you

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

What kind of template do you want here? If it’s for data, I suggest to create a template table and then use the “Copy” link on the “List of tables” create a new instance of that table, which you can then edit and fill with data.

If you want a template for styling (of tables with the same structure), I recommend to use “Extra CSS classes”. You could for example use something like
tablepress-my-template as the main CSS class (instead of .tablepress or .tablepress-id-123). Then, you can add that tablepress-my-template to the “Extra CSS classes” field on the “Edit” screen of those tables that should get this (template) styling.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

Good to hear that this helped!

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
